Putting Smart Women in New Media

Last night I did my weekly grocery shopping. Can’t
figure out why so many people load their carts overflowing when there’s going to be a storm. What do they do on normal days? Do they plan to eat more during a storm?

My husband, Randy, works for VDOT and got called for snow duty. He took a state car home last night, but it was snowed into our driveway by the time he had to leave this morning. So he took the metro one stop and walked 2 miles to report for snow duty. But now the metro has stopped all service, so he’ll probably have to take another state vehicle home and park it on a main road so he can do snow duty again tomorrow.
